#424: Don’t Miss the Call: Use a Reliable Contact Number on Your Resume

When listing a phone number on your resume, be sure it’s one you regularly answer or consistently check for messages. Many people include a personal cell or home number, but spend most of their day using a different work phone, leaving those other lines unattended.

This becomes even more important if you travel frequently. It could take days before you realize a recruiter has tried to reach you, potentially causing you to miss out on a great opportunity.
