Pfizer's manufacturing plant in Rocky Mount, North Carolina is one of the world’s biggest sterile injectables plants. A recent tornado in the area caused significant damage to the building which has prompted fears over the possibility of drug shortages.
Luckily, Pfizer confirmed that all its Rocky Mount employees evacuated the facility and were safe and accounted for.
