We have been retained to identify a high-impact Vice President of Business Development for a specialized Market Access advisory firm serving small to mid-cap biotechnology companies. This is a rare opportunity to join a deeply credible, scientifically grounded advisory platform that is poised for scale.

HIGHLIGHTS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development & Revenue Generation
Generate new business opportunities across small-cap, mid-cap, and emerging biotechnology companies (strong preference for this experience).
Develop and execute a proactive outreach strategy targeting clinical development, market access, medical affairs, and commercial leaders.
Lead proposal development, scope definition, budget, and contract negotiation in partnership with Managing Principal.
Close new engagements aligned with Yorker Health’s HEOR, value strategy, and access capabilities.
Maintain and expand relationships within existing client accounts.
Strategic Market Positioning
Identify white-space opportunities in therapeutic areas and emerging pipeline assets.
Translate client needs into structured consulting engagements (e.g., evidence generation strategy, payer value story development, claims analyses, IRA-related support, etc.).
Represent the company at industry meetings and conferences (e.g., ISPOR, AMCP, BIO, etc.).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with internal scientific and analytics teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposals.
Provide voice-of-customer insights to shape service offerings.
Contribute to long-term growth strategy and brand positioning.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years of experience in life sciences consulting, HEOR, market access, or related advisory services.
Demonstrated success generating and closing business from:
Small-cap pharmaceutical companies
Mid-cap biopharma
Emerging biotech organizations
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong network across commercial, medical, and decision-makers.
Deep understanding of payer dynamics, evidence requirements, and value communication.
