DESCRIPTION:

This retained search is being conducted on behalf of our innovative client who is a modular provider of cleanrooms, clean spaces, and cold storage solutions.

A Senior Manager of Estimating Cleanrooms, in the context of construction or manufacturing, is responsible for leading a team of estimators, managing the cost estimation process for cleanroom projects, and ensuring accurate and timely project budgets.

HIGHLIGHTS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Leading and Managing a Team: Oversee, mentor, and guide a team of estimators, ensuring they have the resources and training to perform their duties effectively.

  2. Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure alignment on project scope and budget.

  3. Analyzing and Evaluating Project Scope: Assess the complexity and requirements of cleanroom projects to develop realistic and accurate cost estimates.

  4. Developing and Implementing Estimating Processes: Drive the development and implementation of efficient and effective estimating processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  5. Managing Risks and Challenges: Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that could impact project costs and timelines.

  6. Providing Expertise and Guidance: Offer expertise and guidance to the team on cost estimation techniques, industry standards, and best practices.

  7. Ensuring Accuracy and Timeliness: Ensure that cost estimates are accurate, complete, and delivered on time to support project planning and decision-making.

  8. Reviewing and Approving Estimates: Review and approve cost estimates prepared by the team, ensuring they meet quality standards and company requirements.

  9. Staying Current with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and cost-saving strategies to ensure that the company remains competitive.
