Our bicoastal client is focused on the development and commercialization of novel therapies to treat orphan disease with an initial focus on cardiopulmonary indications. With 36 employees and growing, we seek to hire the Vice President of Clinical Development for the Greater Philadelphia area to lead the overall development, strategy and execution of their Phase IIb programs in cardiopulmonary disorders. This person will have direct reports and yet be very hands on leading and executing on the drug development programs. The ideal leader will be a teacher; a player and a coach in the field who is involved in the game.

The position is best suited to a clinician/investigator cardiologist or a physician with deep expertise in leading the clinical development programs of cardiovascular and/or cardiopulmonary drugs and /or Rare Disease inclusive of all phases of development.
