Business Development Analyst Senior Manager/Director
We have been retained by our biopharmaceutical client that has a Generics Business to identify a Business Development Analyst Senior Manager/Director. This individual must possess pharmaceutical generic drug business development and market analysis experience, experience working on programs focusing on the development of generic pharmaceutical products. This includes analyzing market share, business development opportunities and identifying competitors of the company and formulating sales forecast plans.
Our client is focused on the acquisition, development, and commercialization of quality pharmaceuticals and innovative therapeutics addressing cancer and other unmet medical needs for the global market. They have a strong and growing product pipeline of commercially available and clinical stage drug candidates.

Demonstrated contracting, forecasting and financial analytical experience.
Successful record of generic drug sales or financial analysis.

HIGHLIGHTS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recognize market dynamics, communicate market insights to senior management and develop/implement plans to achieve account-specific goals.
Develop and maintain business relationships with generic drug wholesalers and retailers.
Seek and identify business development opportunities within the generic drug segment.
Create product-specific sales plans and financial objectives.
Partner with internal functions to define project and program objectives, deliverables, and annual and long-range operating work plans; identify resources (e.g. FTEs, budget, etc.); and ensure execution and progress towards deliverables and milestones.
Development of account and product specific sales forecast.
Establishing new product distribution channels/opportunities and in-depth knowledge of the company’s portfolio and competitive products.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
BS/MS or PhD degree in a scientific field is required.
Must have broad experience in the generic industry.
Pharmaceutical sales account management experience with late stage/ commercial experience.
Superior knowledge of healthcare market access environment and critical issue.
Experience working with and managing third-party contractors and vendors.
