This Head of Global Digital Innovation search is being conducted on behalf of our global biopharmaceutical client who is always pushing the boundaries of science. They have a passion for discovery and a strong pipeline. Their Oncology therapy area is unparalleled.
This is an opportunity to be part of a new department covering digital innovation strategy. One will be a key member of the Global Commercial Innovation, Digital and Strategy team, and report to the VP, Global Head Commercial Innovation, Digital & Data Strategy and is a daily business partner to the Global Franchise Head, Oncology.
In this role, you are the expert to set the strategy for building strong flexible partnerships to drive innovation and better use technology to improve patient outcomes. Our client’s business model has shifted toward outcomes-based performance and must consider how to seamlessly collect, combine and share a variety of health data in real time. This individual will provide thought leadership and ensure cross-functional collaboration and coordination to understand and foster engagement with these ecosystems.

This person should have an oncology background and marketing, market access or digital space background and exposure to more than 1 function in marketing, market access or digital space background.
This person will service as a partner and advisor to 5 global franchise heads with an appreciation for data.
One will lead data strategy and technology and have direct reports.

In particular, you will partner with the individual regions global marketing heads; interface with the value-based pricing teams leveraging data and sensitive business priorities.
Enhance Customer Experience and business performance by transforming worldwide capabilities, elevating quality of insights, and embedding advanced business analytics.
You will lead a worldwide community to drive capabilities across the Oncology Business Unit to enable better strategic and operational decisions in the context of a rapidly evolving oncology marketplace and evolving customer needs.
Enhance insights with feedback from worldwide leadership and their innovation teams.
Elevate Business Partnerships, worldwide customer relationships and market strategy knowledge to understand key stakeholder’s business acumen.
Provide insights and external customer knowledge for major strategic decisions.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in scientifically relevant discipline.
Minimum 10 years of market research & customer relations experience within a pharmaceutical or life sciences organization specializing in oncology.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations, and ability to persuade/influence organization pursuit of recommended path.
Experience in communicating and partnering with leadership on a global scale.
