DESCRIPTION:

This Clinical Pharmacology Director search is being conducted on behalf of our global biopharmaceutical client who is pushing the boundaries of science to deliver life-changing medicines. They are resetting expectations of what a biopharmaceutical company can be. They are opening new ways to work, groundbreaking and cutting-edge methods and bringing unexpected teams together.

In this role, one will work closely with clinical pharmacometricians, physicians, and other scientists, applying your expertise and leadership skills to contribute to the strategy of the clinical program. One will influence key decisions in early and late phases of clinical development, ensuring expert data integration, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of clinical pharmacology results. This individual will also contribute to regulatory documents and interactions, present Clinical Pharmacology results within and outside of the company and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

  • The ideal candidate will have Translational science experience and international scientific reputation gained from scientific publishing in the field of Clinical Pharmacology.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD degree in a relevant field for > 10 years, or MS. or PharmD degree in a relevant field for > 13 years.

  • Industry experience or equivalent in pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacology aspects of drug development > 10 years.

  • Experience of writing and reviewing clinical trial protocols and reports and regulatory documents such as INDs, IBs, NDAs or BLAs.

  • Knowledge of pharmacokinetics, its clinical application and regulatory context.

  • Knowledge and experience in use of PK and PKPD modelling applied to life sciences.

  • Biological understanding of disease and drug action.
